When the Houghton Road Corridor projects began taking shape in 2007, Ward 4 Councilwoman Shirley Scott invited selected representatives of area neighborhood and homeowner associations to be part of a committee to assist in reviewing project information, sharing the information with the neighborhoods, and bringing back feedback to the committee regarding project improvements, public art, and areas of concern. Since September 2007, Ward 4 CDRC has met 34 times and continues to be a valuable part of the public outreach process.
